Designed to display the Hazchem system on Road Tankers in accordance with ‘The Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road Regulations 1996’.
Hazchem Signs and Holders
The basic system comprises black polyester coated stainless steel frames, either top-entry or side-entry with safety bars and stainless steel spring retaining clips.

The panels can be either aluminium with rounded corners and a folded friction bearing edge or square cut High Impact Polystyrene. The ‘Hazchem’ information is now printed directly on to orange retro-reflective vinyl, as required by the new legislation, which can then be applied to the backing panels described above.
For the Petrol Industry, the all-embracing 1270 code has been replaced by specific U.N. numbers and emergency action codes 3YE 1203 Petrol (as shown above), 3Y 1223 Kerosene and 3Z 1202 Gas Oil/Diesel.

Hazchem Signs and Holders
Designed for vehicles changing loads regularly and, in particular, for distributors of Petrol products, the Hazchem Display Container allows for the display of one Hazchem coded panel and the storage of up to 9 spare ones. The unit is of a rugged steel construction with a hot zinc spray and black polyester coating. The spare panels are stored in a separate compartment with an auto-lock door plus a security hook and chain.
