With increasing awareness concerning protection of the environment, many companies are now equipping vehicles transporting hazardous loads, with emergency packs of absorbents.The provision of the EMERGENCY SPILL-KIT enables the driver to deal promptly and effectively with small spills and leaks, thus preventing a minor incident becoming a major, and therefore costly one.
Untreated oil spills can spread very quickly across surface water, entering drains and gullies and polluting rivers. In addition, Tarmac and other road surfaces deteriorate rapidly on contact with oil, and are expensive to clean. The N.R.A. and H. & S. E. are already prosecuting companies which violate their strict safety and pollution standards.
As a ‘remedy’ for minor spills and a ‘First Aid’ to larger incidents, the EMERGENCY SPILL-KIT consists of absorbent pads, booms and cushions with a sealed polythene bag for contaminated materials.
For quick response, it is essential that the EMERGENCY SPILL-KIT is available near the incident, and for this reason we have manufactured a durable, lightweight container to be fitted on the trailer or at the rear of the cab. The EMERGENCY SPILL-KIT CONTAINER not only provides an easily accessible location for the kit, but also allows for the safe stowage of the contaminated material prior to its’ removal to a registered site for disposal.

Technical
SPILL-KIT consists of 4 Booms, 25 absorbent pads, 1 cushion and 1 sealed polythene bag with an absorption capacity of over 50 litres.
SPILL-KIT container is manufactured in rotationally moulded 4mm microcene in grey with grip handle and viewing window. The over-centring fastener and hinge are stainless steel and the sides have fairings for extra strength.
